Catherine R. Rogers serves as one of four District judges in Laramie County. She was raised in Cheyenne and is a graduate of Central High School, Wesleyan University and the University of Wyoming College of Law. She was first appointed by Governor Freudenthal in 2009 to serve as a Circuit Court judge, and in 2013 Governor Mead appointed her to the District Court bench. She currently serves as the Chair of the District Court Judges Conference. Prior to her appointment to the Judiciary, Catherine practiced law alongside her father, John Rogers, and served on numerous community boards, including Cheyenne LEADS, the Cheyenne Animal Shelter and the Wyoming Guardianship Corporation. In 2009, she was awarded the Distinguished Leadership Award by the Community Leadership Association at its national conference in Long Beach, California.
