Payments are due upon receipt of receiving your bill for Morning and After Care Early Childhood/Extended Care Special Policies Illness The primary concern of St. Mary’s Catholic School is to provide a healthy, safe environment for students and staff. Please keep your children home if they exhibit any symptoms that could be contagious. It will be at the discretion of the staff person in charge to determine if a student needs to be sent home for illness. Students must be fever free for 24 hours in order to be at school. Behavior Potty Trained:All children who participate in the pre-school and extended care programs must be totally potty trained. Please refer to Student/Family Handbook for guidance. You will be notified of the event, purpose, destination, date and time of departure, and estimated time of return in advance allowing you the opportunity to disapprove your student’s participation if you so choose. Students without an approved and signed permission form may not participate in the field trip. We continually strive to upgrade our software and hardware to enhance the learning environment of our school. It takes a commitment from all of us to keep technology running smoothly. St. Mary’s Catholic School will operate under an “opt out” policy for students regarding Internet Access. This means that students will be assumed to have parent/guardian permission to access the Internet at St. Mary’s Catholic School unless the school has received a written statement from the student’s parent(s)/guardian(s) that the student does not have Internet Access permission. Computer Conduct — Students are responsible for good behavior on school computers and computer networks just as they are in a classroom or a school hallway. School rules for behavior and communications apply as stated in the Student/Family Handbook. Understand that in accessing the Internet at St. Mary’s Catholic School, students will be expected to adhere to the St. Mary’s Catholic School Acceptable Use Policy: Acceptable Use — The Internet may be used by students for research and educational activities. Users will abide by the generally accepted rules of network etiquette. Utilization of computer/network resources may be monitored. Users are warned that they should possess no illusions of privacy while using a school computer. St. Mary’s Catholic School may access computer files and history at ANY time. To protect against downloading viruses from the Internet and introducing potential risk to the St. Mary’s Catholic School network: virus-check all files downloaded off the Internet and obtain approval from the technology coordinator for any software loaded on a St. Mary’s Catholic School computer. The use of shareware, freeware and public-domain software without prior approval is prohibited and can put our networks at risk.
