Eligibility:<\/strong>\u00a0All youth ages 1-18; no registration, ID, or income verification
is required.
Requirements:<\/strong>\u00a0Meals must be\u00a0eaten on-site; “grab-and-go” service is
generally not available under current federal guidelines.
Holiday Closures:<\/strong>\u00a0Sites are typically closed for Independence Day (July 4)
and occasionally late July for staff training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Mary\u2019s shall promote student well-being and academic achievement by supporting quality nutrition and physical activity as part of the learning environment. Our Kitchen staff at SMCS prepares school lunches with great pride and enjoyment. We believe that SMCS plays an important role in shaping lifelong healthy eating habits by offering nutritious meals that follow the USDA federal child nutrition guidelines.

We offer hot lunch on full school days. Students going to after-care on half days need to bring a cold lunch. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families who meet income guidelines may qualify for Free or Reduced Lunches. You can print the application from the file here, or come into the office to pick up a paper copy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch prices for the 2025 – 2026 school year will be as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full Price Student Meal $2. 85<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extra Entree: $1.50<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional Milk $.50<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adult Lunch: $3.70<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In your welcome packet in August, you will receive a Free & Reduced Lunch Application we encourage you to complete this application to see if you qualify for free or reduced lunch prices.

St. Mary’s Catholic School will serve hot lunches to students only on full days. Lunches will not be served on half days and during holiday breaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Mary\u2019s Wellness Council<\/em><\/strong> will set goals, monitor, and review the policy and guidelines, and ensure that we are following all Federal, State, and Local Regulations pertaining to the Wellness Policy.  The Food Service Director and PE Teacher will co-chair this committee.  This committee may also include teachers, students, and potential stakeholders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Council will then report to the principal its recommendations for improvements and goals for the school year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notice:  Any potential stakeholders please contact the office if you would like to participate in the development, review, update, and implementation of the SMCS Wellness Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
